James E. Perero practices business and civil litigation with the Ventura County office of Wasserman, Comden, Casselman & Esensten, LLP. Mr. Perero has represented clients in both state and federal court on a variety of matters including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, inverse condemnation, personal injury, and employment. He has experience in various aspects of litigation, from initial filings, through trial and final judgment. As a member of the Honors Moot Court Program at Southwestern Law School, Mr. Perero's team won first place at the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, and Mr. Perero was awarded Fourth Best Oralist overall. In addition to earning top marks in international law, Mr. Perero externed with Federal Magistrate Judge Margaret Nagle and with the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. Mr. Perero is active in the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and Ventura Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers with his church and Habitat for Humanity. In his spare time, Mr. Perero enjoys golf, kayaking, riding his mountain bike, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
