Mr. Esensten's practice incorporates his extensive experience in business litigation and his expertise in all aspects of contract law from negotiations of disputes through recovery of judgments, providing him with the ability to develop creative, real world solutions for the clients he represents.

Since 1975, Mr. Esensten has overseen and maintained primary responsibility for the representation of clients in a variety of fields, including real estate, construction, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, accounting and the entertainment industry. In less than two years, Mr. Esensten became the fourth equity partner and the firm became Wasserman, Comden, Casselman & Esensten.

With over 50 jury trials, and hundreds of arbitrations, court trials and administrative trials, Mr. Esensten has a vast background of experience upon which to draw and is well respected by opposing counsel and the Courts. He has served as an arbitrator and mediator in over 75 disputes including attorney fee disputes, attorney disciplinary hearings, and civil litigation matters. Mr. Esensten is admitted to practice before all of the courts in the state of California, various federal district courts including the US Tax Court and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
