WC&C is proud to announce that David B. Casselman, Senior Partner, is President-elect of the American Board of Trial Advocates for all Chapters in the State of California and the 2009 President of Cal-ABOTA. This organization consists solely of experienced trial lawyers and is dedicated to the preservation of the 7th Amendment right to a jury trial, and civility among trial lawyers. Mr. Casselman currently serves as a member of the Executive Boards of the Los Angeles Chapter, as well as the State organization and the National Board of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Casselman specializes in complex litigation with an emphasis on jury trials. His expertise in public entity liability litigation has been nationally recognized, with a successful jury verdict in the Big Rock Mesa Landslide case, the largest in the country at that time, and many other high-profile cases. His practice includes inverse condemnation, subsidence, landslides, ocean diving liability and public construction contract disputes, as well as complex litigation experience involving business disputes, personal injuries, product liability claims, real estate litigation, insurance coverage, insurance policy examinations under oath and insurance bad faith claims. In addition, Mr. Casselman has provided his experience on a pro bono basis assisting animal welfare causes. Mr. Casselman is a well-known speaker, educator, and published author concerning insurance litigation law. He has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell for decades and has been consistently selected as a Southern California "Super Lawyer." Mr. Casselman is an active member of the National Board and Los Angeles Board of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a member of the American and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations. Mr. Casselman is also the Founder of the Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary. |
