Class Actions

Maxine Swim Group, Inc.

Wasserman, Comden & Casselman, LLP currently represents former seamstresses employed by swimwear manufacturer Manhattan Beachwear, LLC, the alleged successor of Maxine Swim Group, in a class action wage and hour dispute.

Plaintiff seamstresses provided and maintained their own hand tools, such as scissors, sharpeners, toe pedals and attachments for sewing machines.  Defendant then failed to reimburse plaintiffs in violation of the California Labor Code.  Plaintiffs seek reimbursement for these expenditures as well as statutory penalties.

If you were employed as a seamstress by a swimwear manufacturer or have information to share, please contact Wasserman, Comden & Casselman, LLP.
