Honda Airbag Investigation
Wasserman, Comden, Casselman & Esensten L.L.P. is currently conducting an investigation involving defective side airbags systems found in Accord model automobiles manufactured by Honda. Some consumers complain that the side airbags in their Accord vehicles are prone to inadvertent deployment without their vehicles actually being involved in a side impact collision or accident. In such cases, the side airbags simply deploy while driving at normal speeds or while driving over a pothole on the roadway.
Upon taking the vehicle to the dealership for repairs, some consumers are told that the side airbags operated as designed or that the deployment was caused by some type of undercarriage damage to their vehicle. Honda will often refuse to cover the expense of repairing the side airbags following an inadvertent deployment, leaving consumers to choose between expending thousands of dollars in repairs or continue operating the vehicle without operable side airbags.
Wasserman, Comden, Casselman & Esensten L.L.P., along with co-counsel Arias, Ozzello & Gignac L.L.P. and Bisnar Chase, have filed a case on behalf of Plaintiffs, in California federal court, against American Honda Motor Co.
