For several decades, WCC&E has successfully represented public entities and private individuals in major litigation. In the 1980's, WCC&E successfully defended the "Big Rock Mesa Landslide" litigation, then touted as the largest litigation in the country. In the 1990's, WCC&E represented a variety of claimants in litigation ranging from business and personal injury litigants to various class actions, and then defended the Hollywood MTA street collapse cases. In 2001, WCC&E received two of the top ten largest verdicts in the state of California. In 2006, WCC&E secured the largest settlement in the history of Santa Barbara County.
