American Express Financial Advisors, Inc.

On October 23, 2002 WCC&E filed a class action lawsuit against American Express Financial Services on behalf of employees working as financial advisors, Reppert et al. v. American Express Financial Advisors, Inc., Los Angeles County Superior Court Case No. BC283921. The complaint alleges that American Express Financial Advisors illegally classifies its financial advisors as exempt from overtime compensation in violation of California's labor and unfair competition laws.
